He may look like a bottom feeder, but he craves the sunny warmth of the shallows. So he adopted a wee starfish from the reef to carry with him everywhere to remind him of the beautiful shorelines and shallows that he loves so much.
 
Mackerel is made with a blend of dark annealed wire and copper wire.  His embellishments include earrings for his fins and pendants for his eyes, tail, and, of course, that tiny starfish that dangles delightfully from his dorsal fin.
 
Mackerel measures 5.5 inches tall by 3 inches wide by 8.25 inches long.
