Flashy Flossy, Flashy Flossy!  All the other fledglings had teased her throughout her youth, and so Flossy decided to show them.  She would be just that – flashy!  So she danced and twirled and delighted all with her fabulous plumage and stunning violet hues.
 
She's like a celebration of color and flair.  I loved creating this pretty, girly bird.  The tail embellishment is a vintage pin, and it seemed to have a sweeping, directional shape to it that begged for a sculpture in motion.  Here's what came of it.  Flossy measures 7.25 inches tall by 4 inches wide by 5 inches long.
