Wreathed with a little light,

Eclipse only crept out at night.

To be out at day just wasn’t right,
He was a spider, scary and stark
Not colorful, sunny, or bright.
Yes, a spider, not a meadowlark.
 
Eclipse would have you think he's scary, but he's quite harmless indeed.  Made with dark annealed wire and various found items, he measures 3 inches long by 1.25 inches tall by 2 inches wide (just a little thing, isn't he?).
