Gracious, but she’d forgotten her hat!  Did her outfit look incomplete?  All the others had their dazzling head crests.  She feared she was too plain, but that was silly, for her darling Everett adored her little head and her dignified, shiny beak.
 
Blanche, you should know, is madly in love.  Her darling Everett, indeed, is the apple of her eye.  Go have a look at him here.
 
The ostrich came to mind more than once as I developed the collection of found items for Blanche.  Her embellishments are many, including a bracelet, multiple parts of a necklace, earrings, and more.  Those beads trailing down her back are the most stunning shade of midnight blue and are so twinkly in person!
 
Blanche stands tall, measuring 7.75 inches tall by 5 inches wide by 6.5 inches long.
