Swiftly she goes, Miss Darling Marie.
Downhill at speeds you’d hardly believe.
From the mountain’s tip-top,
To the deepest valley,
She flies, she glides, she speeds, she skis!
 
Marie, here, is my last wire sculpture created in 2024.  She's brand new, and she's ready to go skiing into her new home.  She is made with fencing wire and paddle wire.  Her embellishments include found items such as earring pendants, necklace parts, and even her twinkling scarf is an earring.  A jaunty silver bell tips her darling hat, which seems to be flying clean off as she glides along.  She measures 3.5 inches tall by 8 inches long by 2 inches wide.
