Only recently did I learn that there was such a species of pig as this. A Hereford pig, much like Hereford cattle, tend to have red bodies and white faces and legs. It seemed like a fun breed of pig to make with wire.
This Hereford pig is made with steel fencing and paddle wires (the silver wire) and copper wire. The ears are ruffled leaf pendants, and the nose is a hot pink button. I decided to keep the embellishments minimal so that I could just let the wire shine. Besides, I don't think this pig is too fond of getting all gussied up!
This pig measures 7.5 inches long by 3.75 inches tall by 3.25 inches wide.
